An English Learning Experience | Who are Samar Internacional? 

Samar Internacional are based all over the world but their headquarters are in Alicante, Spain. They operate in the Logistics and distribution sector, where effective English communication is essential for daily operations, from client calls to supplier negotiations. With teams interacting regularly with international partners, fluency and confidence in English are critical to success.

Multilingual Teams | The Challenge 

While the team had the technical knowledge needed for their roles, many lacked confidence in speaking and listening. This often led to hesitations in conversations, particularly during phone calls with clients or transport companies. As Laura Ruiz, HR Manager, explains, team members sometimes focused so much on “saying it right” that they lost sight of the message they needed to deliver — and she personally felt the same way.

The Approach for English Learning

Everywhere English provided native-speaking teachers who tailored lessons to each employee’s role and responsibilities. The focus was on speaking, listening, and building vocabulary relevant to each position. Before starting, Laura shared detailed information about every participant’s profile, department, and day-to-day work, ensuring training was immediately relevant and practical.

Ongoing feedback and flexibility allowed lessons to adapt as needs evolved.

The learners had access to a self-learning hub and had one-to-one online lessons with a tutor. Learners were also tested every 12 weeks to ensure progress was being made.
